Vacation Apartments In Chicago IL
I am a career corporate finance professional and a life-long Chicagoan and resident of the Lincoln Square neighborhood. My wife is an attorney and we have two lovely children, ages 16 and 8. We collect art and greatly enjoy world travel.
Virgil purchased this Apartment in 1910
We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. It was clean, well equipped and the owner was very informative and so helpful. We give it our highest recommendation.
Ro is an awesome host he greeted us on arrival and answered all of our questions and gave some great tips about the neighborhood. The area was quiet and easily accessible by walking or car to restaurants and stores. We enjoyed our time and would rent from Ro again.
We extremely enjoyed our stay at Narciso’s place! This location couldn’t have gotten any better, we found wonderful places to eat and we could easily access the CTA. We would definitely stay here again!!
Was met at the property at check-in and shown in detail the apartment. Was given recommendations to local restaurants and what was in the neighborhood. Terrific experience!
Excellent apartment and host!
I would rent it again without a doubt.
Weirdest place I've ever stayed in. Looked like a store, with the bed in the back room/kitchen, but great price and great manager. Very helpful and easy to communicate with. Great neighborhood, close to groceries, bars, restaurants.
Located close to train, buses, restaurants and a grocery store
This was everything it was advertised to be. Clean, nicely decorated, and plenty of room for two to four people. A ten minute walk to the “L” train Brown line which can get you to the Red line or downtown. The unit has a garage which is invaluable. Good neighborhood with a Jewel and nice restaur

This is a great space for a large family. Our teen girls loved the loft with the privacy curtain. We enjoyed having two tvs, one for Dad's sports in the master/kitchen area and one for the kids video games in front of of their sofa bed. It is close to shopping, and walking distance to Lou's
We didn’t come! We were told we could reschedule later in the spring.
The rental was great. It is big and spacious and has everything you need. Mr. Virgil is very fast at responding any message. Overall it was a great stay. Highly recommended
This was the first time renting a home for vacation. The neighborhood was great. A grocery store across the street was great to purchase snacks and stuff for breakfast. The kitchen was great enough pans to make breakfast. The bedrooms and beds were good. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. If
great apartment for a larger family owner is great we hope to return
We came in 2 groups ( my friend’s family and my son). Total of 7 people in a group. So we where looking for a place to stay especially with little ones with us. The apartment had a vintage feel to it but it has a very homey atmosphere. My son and my friends kept on complimenting on how the apartme
Great location and plenty of room. Bit of clutter & dated decor, but for a group, there was a lot of space to spread out. Lots of restaurants close by, as well as Aldi’s , which was very convenient. Lovely neighborhood to walk in & several parks nearby. Parking was super easy which is rare in Chic
We said it felt like grandma and grandpa's house! Very endearing and large kitchen for our large group. There were enough areas through out the house, that allowed for alone time when needed. Very comfortable and provided for all our needs.
This is the fourth time we have rented at this location and the fifth time we have rented from Virgil. Every time it has been an absolute pleasure to stay at this location. Everything you need is within walking distance, the red line stop is only a block away and don't overlook the free parking
We had a wonderful stay. The property was well stocked, plenty of space, and very convenient location. Would definitely come back.
We visited Chicago to attend my daughter's graduation. The apartment was super clean, easy to get to on public transportation and in a terrific neighborhood. Virgil was incredibly gracious and responsive. Would absolutely stay there again!
This property exceeded my expectations. It has all the charm of the quintessential Chicago 3 flat walk up. Beautiful wood crown molding, hardwood floors throughout except kitchen and bath. Starburst glass insets in the bedroom doors. Comfortable furnishings. Tastefully decorated. Well kept/very clea
Excellent location, excellent communication
This location made our weekend absolutely unforgettable. Great place, plenty of space, couldnt ask for a closer spot to the train. If we come back to Lolla next year, or even just to Chicago we will definitely be looking to book here again!
We had a great time in Chicago. The property was exactly as it was described and Virgil was an excellent host. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a location walking distance from good restaurants, parks and the train station to go downtown.
Everything was accurate as described. The location was wonderful. Quiet, safe, family oriented neighborhood. Everything I needed was within walking distance. Grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, parks were 5-15 minute walk away. My purpose was to visit my son and his family. I had a 5 minute drive
Virgil was a good host and responded to our concerns.
Comfortable 2 bedroom unit, one block from Lincoln Square, very clean, full kitchen, delightfully decorated. Recommended!
we had a great time in chicago, the house was in a nice location and pretty much was everything that we wanted for our stay
Easy access to groceries, restaurants, parks - perfect stay for the two of us and our little dog. If you have a furry friend - this is THE place to stay.
My husband and I came with our 2 dogs and were hoping to find somewhere that had quick access to a yard and walkable. Virgil's location did just the trick! The balcony was so lovely to sit on in the morning with coffee and the neighborhood was fantastic (the mail woman even gave both dogs treats
Loved our stay at this property. Full of character it is in a very quiet neighborhood with two parks and a trail along the Chicago river close by. Aldi supermarket is 2 minutes walk away and we found plenty of restaurants in the area that delivered. Virgil was easy to work with and prompt to respond
This is an upstairs apartment in a very convenient location. Grocery store 300' The park is one block away, cafe and coffee shops within walking distance. The building is pretty much a time capsule from the early 20th century. It's clean and well kept. If your giving a thought to staying her
